This ASAPB5 has back and sides of sapele with a sitka spruce top. The neck is a laminate of quartersawn maple and sapele with an ebony fingerboard. The fret positions are marked with maple lines and the scale is 35". Fitted with the wonderful RMC saddles and pre-amp which, combined with the Thomastik Acousticore strings, give such superb acoustic bass tones. The ebony bridge adjustment for action and intonation for each string. Works beautifully in acoustic and electric modes and now lives in Iceland.
