César's Hybrid. More flamed maple this time in a pretty sunburst with black binding on the top and nicely proportioned body. Core is sapele which makes for lots of sustain and bite. Pickups are EMG and there is quite a lot of onboard active circuitry. Trem is a Schaller Low Profile Floyd Rose which sits very flat on the top. The neck on this one is a very slim laminate of flamed maple and sapele. Capable of completely over the top sounds. As you may have gathered I have quite a lot of beautiful European flamed maple in the workshop (for solid bodies or acoustics) which I bought on a trip to Switzerland. |
