Colin's ASAPCAW. A few years ago Colin brought a friend of his to the workshop and introduced him to me. The friend bought an ASAP. From that day on Colin wanted a guitar for himself and this is what he chose. The back and sides are some of my beautiful and rare Irish cherry with a very creamy sitka top. The mahogany binding is taken from the same piece of wood as the neck is made from. The bridge is a piece of the Irish cherry also. The body depth is greater than standard to compensate for the tightening that a cutaway gives to the sound. Simple and elegant I think - beautiful Irish wood. Colin was very happy and I was sorry to see it go.
