Ger's LH ASAPCAW. I think I read somewhere that one person in seven is left handed. Well I certainly don't get to make that proportion of left handed instruments. This ASAP CAW for Ger Buckley has a fine spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides.and binding is lacewood. As with all my cutaway guitars I make the body a little deeper to improve the bass response that is lost when a cutaway is used. The pickup arrangement is interesting. There are RMC saddles in the bridge and a Fishman Rare Earth in the soundhole. Each pickup has it's own output via a stereo endpin jack arranged so that a split stereo cable will send each signal to a separate channel of the PA or to two amps. If a mono cable is plugged in the default output is the RMC. The Rare Earth is fitted at the 'wrong' end of the soundhole as the pickup as supplied was a right handed version (how were we to know they were different?) and so the only way to get a satisfactory output was to reverse it. We have a left handed version on order so this should be corrected soon.
