I'm delighted to have this beautiful example of the ASAD guitar available from stock. This one had been waiting for a while for me to have time to polish it up and finish it. Finally got it done and it has turned out really well. The top is bookmatched spalted maple with a great flamed figure over a core of mahogany. The neck is mahogany with a centre stripe of flamed maple, the fingerboard is Indian rosewood. I have wired the two Schaller humbuckers in the same way as my personal ASAD  Custom so there are controls for master volume and tone as well as a three way rotary pickup selectorc. The secret is the mini-switch. When it is in the up position everything works normally but click it down and the four coils of the two pickups are linked together to make a massive series humbucker that boosts the midrange significantly and can be used to overdrive an amp. The extra thick and 'thunky' tones extend the possibilities of a regular 2 humbucker guitar significantly. Low action, fast neck, I love it!
