Pablo's ASAPJ. Another example of how a basic model can be turned into something special for a customer with just a few additions. Pablo had tried the personal ASAPJ owned by a Joaquín Garcia (one of my dealers in Spain) and wanted something similar but with his own mark on it. So this is an ASAPJ with beautiful figured Oregon walnut back and sides simply customised with block pearl inlays and a bound fingerboard. One other extra feature was having the letter 'e' as the side marker at the 12th fret. And this is me enjoying the guitar soon after if was finished on a hot day - quite a rare thing in Ireland! |
