Cherry Sunburst. Normally I prefer quilted maple to be tinted to give it an aged look and to bring out the figure but for this guitar the customer specified a cherry sunburst which I was not happy with. But the customer, as usual, was right!

So we have a Jumbo with 5A quilted back and sides (with a centre panel of flamed maple) and a top of bearclaw Canadian sitka. The binding is Rio rosewood and there is Rio rosewood laminates in the flamed maple neck. The Schaller Vintage 'Imperial' style tuners are graceful. The usual big jumbo sounds with drop-dead looks.

When I was ready to spray the colour I looked at some catalogues to remind myself what a cherry sunburst should be. I found 5 different versions from 5 different manufacturers proving that there is no 'standard cherry'! This is my version.
