Roque wanted three humbucking pickups with a 24 fret neck and a Floyd Rose trem on an SG style body so some adaptation had to be done. The only way to fit an extra humbucker and 24 frets was to use a Seymour Duncan SL59 in the middle position. For the Floyd to be effective it was necessary to have the body 3mm thicker - access to the higher frets is effortless. The three way switch acts as normal and the mini switch brings in the mini humbucker which has a stacked control pots. The high gloss black contrasts well with the chrome hardware (those are genuine Tony Iommi pickups in their trademark covers) and some pearl inlay completes the look. Heavy sounding guitar.
