Simple, elegant ASAP. More of the beautiful Irish cherry. Ross's ASAP has a pale sitka top with mahogany binding, an ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. The machinehead knobs, trussrod cover and bridgepins are ebony also. The headstock and heel are faced with lacewood. Simple and elegant with great sound.

Ebony fingerboards need to have binding to cover the effects of the movement of the wood with changing humidity - the frets being metal don't move so can stick out under certain conditions. In this case The binding is ebony also so virtually invisible.
