Hi Chris, Here are some "wounded in action"pics of our bass! - lacerations to the head - spinal injuries - broken neck - never going out of tune and still sounding beautiful. Despite the outward appearance it has always been treated with loving care - polished and waxed with such regularity that my wife once proclaimed "if there was a fire in the house I'd get the bass out first and then come back for her". I built this for Eamonn in 1987 and had to fix the neck break (you can see the maple splices) in about 2000. A great unbreakable workhorse! |
