Volker's 5B. Rather nice piece of spalted beech from Northern Ireland. Volker wanted his pickups at these angles and also has a layer of ebony between the mahogany of the body and the top. The EQ is a Demeter and sounds very musical. Abalone block inlays are a finishing touch. As a surprise birthday present Volker's girlfriend flew him to Ireland to pick up his bass. |
